Editing Pathfinder

A [[Scouting (skill)|Scouting]] [[specialisms|specialism]] that allows you to choose the speed at which your squads travel.

Pathfinder has the following effects:
* reduces the chance of taking vehicle damage when travelling recklessly (>30mph)
* reduces the increased risk of encounters when travelling recklessly
* amplifies the risk-reduction effect when travelling carefully (<30mph) 

At 30mph Pathfinder has no effect as it is the ''normal'' travel speed.  Each 1 mph above 30 adds more danger than is saved by going 1 mph less than 30. 

If you don't have a Pathfinder, going slow gives very little benefit.

-mph is considered to be the maximum ''safe'' speed to travel the roads of Evan. If you travel faster than that, you may get more encounters, and your tyres and armour may take damage. If you travel slower than 30mph, the risk of encounter is slightly reduced. All effects are improved in your favour if you have a scout with the Pathfinder specialism in the squad.
